La Quinta 2026 STVR Inventory Review — January to October

The available 2026 observations

The included inventory moves from 1,210 permits on January 14 to 1,200 on October 21, a net decrease of 10 permits across the recovered comparison period. Both endpoints have zero suspended permits. The May, June and July observations each include one suspended permit, so their total inventories are higher than their active counts by one.

The selected registers cover January, May, June, July and October. May has 1,216 included permits, June has 1,213 and July has 1,197. These dated observations do not establish the highest or lowest inventory during the year because intervening releases are missing.

A partial-year review

This review ends with the October 21 source and does not represent a completed 2026 calendar year. February through April and August through September have no verified complete register in this archive. No December 2025 register is available as a prior-year baseline.

The June and July registers each contain one included permit with an expiration date before the observation date. The publisher’s status still controls inclusion; these dates are reported as diagnostics. Pending applications and Bed & Breakfast records remain excluded throughout the series.

The historical overview keeps the City’s quarterly active-permit figures separate. In particular, its June 30 quarterly total and the July 1 register have different counts; they must not be treated as a verified one-day change. Permit inventories do not measure rental income, occupancy or permit availability.

This review compares the explicitly listed observations below. Missing months are not interpolated. A permit leaving the published inventory does not establish revocation, sale, or cessation of rental activity.
